Why LED?

Developments and Technology in LED Lighting has progressed substantially in the last 2 years and the energy savings range from 70% to 90% with payback period ranging from 18 to 36 months depending on the installation.

In 2010 the Carbon Trust ceased to offer direct funding and entered into an agreement with Siemens Financial Services who have taken a more direct approach to funding. Subject to status, 100% funding is available to cover the capital cost of LED Lighting Replacement Projects including installation costs. We have a number of ongoing installations where Siemens have provided funding directly to customers to change existing lighting to energy saving LED Lights.
